| PRODUCTION PROCESS |
Following an enquiry for a media production, a member of the
Visions By Design team will usually have a preliminary meeting with
the client, at no cost or obligation, to discuss their needs.
|
| Once we have an understanding of the clients goals, we then prepare
a proposal which outlines the objectives and the methodology in creating
the video, the timelines, & the costs. Upon approval by the clients,
an agreement is signed and we get to work. |
Step One is Pre Production
This is where we do all the planning from the designing
& scripting to planning the filming shoots & the
people & equipment we'll need.
Some things you should consider are: |
- Who is your target market?
- What are the special features & benefits that
separate your product or service from your competitors?
- What is the message that the video needs to deliver?
- What is your planned method of delivery for getting
your video into the hands of your customer?
|
The script will be designed around these points.
If this part of the process is done well, then everything
else will fall into place. |
|
|
Step Two is Production
This is where we put the pre production plan into motion
and begin all the filming, based on the script & the
shot list we've developed. |
|
|
Step Three is Post Production
This is where all the footage from the filming days is
brought into the computer & then the art of editing
the story begins. Here we make sure that the final product
is a reflection of the original project objectives. |
Post Production also incorporates
the process of recording high quality Voice Over (Narration).
This is done with a suitable Voice Over Artist in a recording
studio.
We also locate appropriate background music which is subtle
& nicely fades into the background of the video, while
still adding to the overall ambiance & atmosphere
of the final cut.
Text, graphics, & logos can all be included to create
a sophisticated & professional finished media product. |
| And the last step is outputting the
project in the required format. |
|
|
Experience has taught us that this process
is methodical,
efficient, & conducive to a dynamic end product.
This approach gives meaning to the phrase
"Plan the work, and then work the Plan" |
